At Developing Hearts our mission is to empower people living with disabilities by providing holistic support services that enable people to live independently, achieve their unique goals, and participate in the community. We are here to destroy barriers and to work towards creating an all inclusive future.

We believe that every person, regardless of their individual challenges, deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and support.
Services
Provided are a range of different services. All prices are charged in accordance with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits. For ADL’s and social and community, the hourly charge is slightly less than the max rate. At present, we can deliver services privately, or to NDIS participants with self-managed and plan-managed plans.
Available services include:
- Social and Community Participation
- Assistance with Daily Living
- Mentoring, peer-support and individual skill development
- House or yard maintenance
- STA
- Group and Centre based activities
On top of tailoring services to participants, we also have
pre-planned social and community participation activities available
for participants when aligned with their goals.
Packages
Group and Centre based packages are charged in accordance with the hourly rates specified within the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits, and are available to participants where the package aligns with their goals. These activities are charged as Group and Centre Based activities, however they’re delivered to individual participants. Unless specified, activity based transport is also applicable. What sets us apart at Developing Hearts is that we understand that the NDIS cannot fund the cost of activities, but as a business we provide a range of inclusions as part of our service at no extra cost, and we only bill for the hours we provide service for, and applicable activity based transport. Below are some examples of what we can offer.

Gorge Wildlife Park
4 - 5 Hours in - dependent on pickup/ drop off location
This package is only offered on Saturdays and Sundays
Participants of all ages that can navigate the walking trails of the park
-Lunch and a snack provided
-On a Saturday participants get to be up close and personal and hold a Koala (must be 130cm tall otherwise only pats are permitted)
-Sunday sessions include a 15 minute animal encounter with a meerkat, quokka, capybara, reptile or ring-tailed lemur (pending availability - advanced booking essential)
-Regardless of distance travelled, activity based transport is capped at 60km in total, charged at 0.97c per km, for this activity.

-Admission into bounce at 5pm

Kuitpo Forest TreeClimb
4 - 5 Hours - dependent on pickup/ drop off location
This package is only offered on weekends
Participants of all ages with average fitness levels and agility
-Travel to and from the tree climb capped at a total of 70km, regardless of distance travelled (charged at 0.97c per km)
-For children an 80 minute session on the kids course or a 2 hour session for adults
-Bakery lunch with the choice of roll or pastry
-Take home pair of gloves for the adults course

STA Packages
The following are examples of some packages on offer, other packages can be created with the goals and desires of the participant in mind. STA is charged in accordance with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits, the daily price is dependent on whether a participant requires active nights. A full quote will be provided with an itemised list of inclusions prior to finalising a booking.
3 day trip to Hahndorf
- Includes all meals, activities and transport
- Accommodation at Hahndorf Caravan Park
- Main activities include a trip to Gorge Wildlife Park or the Kuitpo Forest TreeClimb
- Other activities may include strawberry picking, swimming, playing board games, playing the Nintendo Switch, cooking, baking, arts and crafts or watching a movie
- Shopping on the main street of Hahndorf
5 day trip to Kangaroo Island
- Includes all meals, activities and transport
- Accommodation in Kingscote or Penneshaw
- Activities include a 2 - 3 hour Kangaroo Island Quad Bike Tour, a tour of Cliffords Honey Farm, and a trip to the Kelly Hill Caves with a guided tour - **Please be aware: The audio-visual component of the cave tour may potentially trigger seizures for people with photosensitive epilepsy and those with sensory processing disorders or hypersensitivity to lights. Viewer discretion is advised.
- Other activities may include exploring the beaches, sightseeing the natural wonders of Kangaroo Island, walks in the National Parks, visiting Seal Bay, playing board games, playing the Nintendo Switch, cooking, baking or watching a movie
